When running the BackupManager.sh or RunOBC.sh script, the following error message is received in the terminal:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /usr/local/obm/jvm/lib/i386/libawt.so: libXp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
at java.lang.ClassLoader$NativeLibrary.load(Native Method)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
The message suggests that the machine in concern may be missing a library (libXp library). This issue may also occur if the machine in concern does not have Graphical Desktop Environment installed.
To resolve the issue, please open a terminal window, and enter the command:
Example (please note that the command is case sensitive):
>yum install libXp
The operating system will then ask for permission to download and install the missing library. Please type "Y" and the libXp library will be installed. Please also run the following command afterward:
After the command is entered, AhsayOBM will start and you should be able to create backup set via the Graphic User Interface (GUI).
In the cases where Graphical Desktop Environment is not installed. The BackupManager.sh script is actually script to invoke the Graphical User Interface of ServosityPro. In order to use the script, it is required to have Graphical Desktop Environment such as KDE or GNOME installed and running. For more information regarding these Graphical Desktop Environment, please refer to the External Info section.
When running the 'yun install' command, you may see the following error:
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Existing lock /var/run/yum.pid: another copy is running. Aborting.
This is because the background YUM updater service is running. To stop it, enter the following command:
Once the process is stopped, you should be able to run the command 'yum install libXp' without any problems.
