How can I tell what my cost will be for SaaS backups?

One of our primary goals at Servosity is to have simple, easy-to-understand pricing. That's why most of our backup accounts include unlimited storage, so that you'll know what you're paying, no matter how much data your clients use.

We decided that in order to keep that same simplicity with our Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace backups, that the best way to do that was just to have a flat rate per Mailbox, and include everything else at no extra cost.

Whether you have 1 mailbox or 1000, we'll automatically backup all of them for you, so there's no concerns about missing anything, and with those mailbox backups, you'll be able to backup all of the other data without paying anything extra. This means that for Microsoft 365 you can create a SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams backup of your entire organization, even if all of the users don't have a mailbox, it's still included. Google Workspace also includes each user's Gmail, Google Drive, and you can create a backup of the organizations Shared Drive as well.

For Microsoft, the one caveat is that if you remove the license for a user that has been previously backed up, as long as they're marked as shared mailboxes we will retain those at no cost. Just make sure you mark them as shared before you remove the license, or else the backups will fail.

So the TL;DR of this is that your cost will simply be your per-mailbox cost, which you can see on your partner agreement, multiplied by the number of mailboxes, and it will be unaffected by how much data you have in any other service.

 

But what if I don't have any mailboxes?

Unfortunately we don't currently support backing up other services without a mailbox backup. If you'd be interested in an alternate price plan that covers backups with no mailbox/exchange licenses, then please email feedback@servosity.com and let us know.
