In an effort to increase security, Servosity will begin requiring MFA for all users who login to our Control Panel at cp.servosity.com. Recently, Malware and Ransomware attacks have been on the rise, from the colonial pipeline, to a certain competitor who shall remain nameless, there have been some well publicized victories for the bad guys lately.
In order to help combat these threats, and to safeguard the data you’ve trusted us with, we’ve made the decision that all users will be required to setup MFA for their account in order to continue using our Control Panel. We will not be enforcing MFA for all clients at this time, however we would love your feedback around this choice. Please send any requests to feedback@servosity.com.
We will be rolling out this change in two phases:
Phase 1 - 10/6/21
- MFA required to delete company or backup accounts
- MFA required to delete user accounts
- MFA required to delete credentials (Fully Managed)
Phase 2 - 10/26/21
- MFA required to login
In the first phase you’ll still be able to login, create accounts, monitor backup status, and do anything else in the control panel that you normally can, with the exception of any deletions.
When we rollout the second phase you’ll be required to setup MFA for your account before you can login or perform any actions.
