The Servosity Professional and Standard backup software includes an option for Continuous Data Protection (CDP). While a scheduled backup will start by scanning the entire backup source to determine what files have changed, CDP keeps track of files in between backup jobs. This enables the backups to run more quickly, because there's no need to scan for changes. The backup job can simply begin uploading the files it has been monitoring right away. If you need backups more than once a day, or if you have a very large number of files this might be a better option than scheduled backups.
