Servosity likes to keep things simple but that doesn't always provide the most details. This article will list all the things that we backup as part of our Google Workspace backups.
Google Workspace accounts are backed up in two separate tasks, the Workspace backup and the Shared Drives backup.
The Workspace backup includes the following data for every user in the Workspace:
- Calendar
- Contacts
- Drive*
- Tasks
*Google Photos was moved from Google Drive to its own system so it is not included in the Google Drive backup.
The Shared Drives backup will backup all the Shared drives that are a part of the Google Workspace.
Note* We will only backup data that the user is an "owner" of.
If a file is shared with a user, it will not be backed up as part of that user's data.
