When does the Offsite backup run?

Offsite backups with ServosityOne don't run on a set schedule but are triggered by backup processes.

ServosityOne offsite backups rely on the daily ImageManager process to run. After ImageManager verifies the images for the day, it consolidates them into a Consolidated Daily Image. Once this process is over, ServosityOne automatically starts scanning the new Daily Image as well as the other images in the chain to determine the CSP or Chain Shortest Path for that Daily Image.

Once the CSP is determined, ServosityOne starts the offsite backup and makes sure that we have every image that is a part of the CSP, in the cloud. Any files not already in the cloud are moved offsite.

We believe this is the best way to make sure we have a reasonable amount of restore points available in the cloud without having a surplus of incremental images slowing down restores.
