How do I restore files from my Image Chain?

For a file restore on DR accounts, you can transfer all the files you need directly from a mounted image.

If you don't know how to mount an image, click here for that article

*Note* The image should be mounted as writable (deselect the read only option) so that folders with specific permissions can be accessed

Once you have you folder mounted, a file explorer window should open with your Image as the Drive letter you selected. (If you did a quick mount, this will be Z:). 

Double-click on the drive to open it up in File Explorer. 

You should be able to navigate the image as if it was a drive on your system. Locate the files you need and transfer them to your local storage. 

Once those are transferred, you have successfully restore files from your image chain!

Make sure to dismount the image when you are done.
