Servosity Pricing FAQ

What is included in the price?

All Servosity plans include:

  • Unlimited Cloud Storage
    • Amazon S3
    • Stored in 3 different datacenters
  • Backup support via phone or email from 9am - 6pm ET, Monday - Friday
  • Emergency Restore support via phone or email anytime (24/7 365 days a year)

What is included with Servosity Safe plans?

Servosity Safe plans include:

  • Fully Managed Service
    • You push out the Servosity One agent via a simple PowerShell script, we do the rest.
    • All other installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance is handled by the Servosity Support team
    • We'll only involve you if there's a problem we can't fix without your help, or if a reboot is required.
  • Automatic Testing
    • We configure your backups so that they are tested daily, weekly, and monthly, and all that testing data is used to tell you when the last fully verified backup was made, both locally and in the cloud.
    • Free Quarterly DRaaS testing is included in all Safe plans and is available on request.
  • Immutable Storage
  • Custom Cloud Retention
    • One year custom retention with up to one backup chain in the archive is included
    • Based on your retention selections, you can save up to 4 previous backup chains in the cloud for up to 10 years

Servosity Backup plans include 3 types of backups with different options:

What is a Seed Load?

A Seed Load is a process in which we ship you a USB 3.0 hard drive via UPS. You will run your initial backup to that drive instead of to our cloud, then ship the drive back. We will use our Gigabit internet connection to upload the data off of that drive to our cloud. Incremental backups can run to the cloud during the Seed Load process. This process is only available for DR and Professional backup accounts.

We will ship a drive of up to 8 TB at no cost once per year for any company that needs one. If you need a second Seed Load sent before a year has elapsed we're happy to do so, however you will be billed $150 to cover shipping costs. This fee can be waived in certain circumstances. 

If your initial backup will exceed 8TB we do have a 22 TB NAS device we can ship out for large seed jobs, however a $500 deposit is required. Half of the deposit will be refunded after the NAS is returned, the other half will be kept to cover shipping.

In cases of much larger Seed Load jobs, we have the option of renting a larger capacity device from Amazon S3, pricing for this option will be discussed on a per-case basis.

What is a Quick Ship?

A Quick Ship is a process in which we download your backup data from our cloud using our Gigabit internet connection and ship it to you on a USB 3.0 hard drive. This process is only available for DR and Professional backup accounts.

We will ship a drive of up to 8TB on request. The cost for this service is $150, plus actual shipping costs. You can choose from available UPS shipping options and we will bill your account, or you can provide your own shipping label, courier service, or arrange to meet with someone on our team in the Greenville SC area. 

If your Quick Ship data will exceed 8TB we do have a 22 TB NAS device we can ship out for large Quick Ship jobs, however a $500 deposit is required in addition to the $150 fee. The full deposit, minus any shipping charges paid by Servosity will be refunded after the NAS is returned. 

In cases of much larger Quick Ship jobs, we have the option of renting a larger capacity device from Amazon S3, pricing for this option will be discussed on a per-case basis.
